About Billing Simplicity

At Billing Simplicity, our mission is to take the stress out of insurance billing so healthcare providers can do what they do best: care for more patients and grow their practices with confidence.

I'm a Certified Professional Biller (CPB™) with the American Academy of Professional Coders and have hands-on experience across a wide range of specialties—from urology and optometry to mental health and nutrition. After spending over 15 years working closely with patients, providers, and insurance companies, I saw firsthand just how complicated and frustrating billing can be. I also saw the other side: when done right, insurance billing opens the door for practices to increase revenue, expand access to care, and serve more patients.

What began with helping a few local mental health providers and dietitians has grown into a business built on word-of-mouth and trust. I’ve developed a simple, efficient billing system that works—one created in collaboration with providers to reduce their workload and increase clarity. It’s cost-effective, proven, and designed to make billing feel like the easiest part of your day.

I truly enjoy being an advocate for providers and their patients—ensuring the billing process supports the quality care being delivered. Having been both a patient and a professional behind the scenes, I understand how important it is for billing to be handled with accuracy, attention, and integrity.

On a personal note, I live in Ferndale, WA with my husband, Darin, who is a teacher, our son Jude, and daughter Ava. When I’m not simplifying billing, you’ll find me running, reading a great book, or enjoying life and laughing with great friends.
